Standardized Tests

Students are required to complete standardized testing as provided by the state of Michigan. These tests help assess the academic knowledge and capabilities of students across the state. Though test scores do not reflect one’s character or abilities as a whole, Our Lady of the Lake prides itself on the support and preparation our faculty provides and the success our students achieve.

Elementary School

NWEA (K-5th grades)
80% of our students scored at or above the national grade-level norm for Science
67% of our students scored at/above the national grade-level norm for Math

54% of our students finished in the top 20% nationally for Science

LMC's SAT average was 1112, 81 points higher than the National Average

PSAT (Juniors)
80% of our 11th-grade students scored college-ready in evidence-based reading and writing
30% of our 11th-grade students scored in the 90 percentile or higher

NWEA Reading: 111% of projected growth was met grades 6-8
NWEA Language: 124% of projected growth was met grades 6-8
